 Aerospace Research & Development Centre – Jamshedpur is approved by DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India under prevailing regulation i.e CAR-147(Basic) in the Categories B1.2.

 

Aerospace Research & Development Center is one of the prominent DGCA approved AME colleges in India. To provide academic and practical training for aspirants, institutes must get approval from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. DGCA approved AME colleges are the only ones authorised to provide training for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering of different streams and Pilot Training.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is the statutory body of the Government of India authorised to regulate civil aviation in India. DGCA is also responsible for issuing licences pertaining to Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and Student Pilot Licence (SPL) in India.
